As part of our extensive spiral staircase range we present the exclusive Columbia spiral staircase - Premium quality with a unique design the staircase has 13 treads which can be adjustable from 20.5 to 22.5cm to a maximum landing height of 292.5cm. Treads, handrail and square landing platform are in beautiful solid oak with finishing oil Sioux White which altogether give a well-designed and modern staircase. The balusters give the staircase an elegant look with the grey lacquered banister.

With a staircase diameters available of 120cm and 140cm the ceiling openings must be minimum of the following

120cm Diameter = Minimum Circular Opening Diameter of 130cm or 125cm x 125cm if you have a square floor opening.
140cm Diameter = Minimum Circular Opening Diameter of 150cm or 145cm x 145cm if you have a square floor opening.
 

Please consider window or door locations with stop inside or outside as well radiator locations to prevent assembly issues. For wall niches please note the entry and exit points and be aware the optimal ceiling opening is 10cm larger than the staircase diameter.

MEASURE YOUR FLOOR-TO-FLOOR HEIGHT

The Columbia Spiral Staircase can reach a maximum floor to floor height of 292cm but can be installed at lower heights in two ways, either using the spacer rings we supply to achieve a perfect height or simply remove treads. The lowest height can be 244cm. The spacer rings are used to fit between the treads so you can land the staircase exactly to your specification.

TOP TIPS

The pitch height can be adjusted with spacer rings from 20.4 to 22.5 cm depending on floor height. We advise you use as little spacers as possible as this will mean narrow gap between the treads, this will make your staircase more comfortable to climb.
